The Costa Blanca ("White Coast" in English) lies on the eastern coast of Spain on the Mediterranean sea. It stretches from Denia in the north of the region to Torrevieja in the south. There is a vast array of different landscapes from the mountains and valleys to the long sandy beaches, and the small rocky coves.
We have villas
in Costa Blanca and apartments in Javea, Calpe and Moraira.
The capital of the region is Alicante. Located on the coast, a little closer to Torrevieja than Denia, it is worth a visit to see the history the city has to offer. This is also where most visitors will enter the region through its airport with direct flights to most U.K. airports. For visitors staying in the southern area of the region it is also worth considering flying into Murcia, and for people staying in the north, flying into Valencia.
The coast is littered with many popular beach holiday destinations.
Javea, known as the jewel of the Costa Blanca, is a very pretty resort, with its typical Spanish town, whitewashed cobbled streets, port and beaches, all very much unspoilt. You can sit out on the street, in one of the Tapas bars, or near the port and watch the world go by. There are only a handful of hotels as most of the accommodation is in the form of apartments and villas.
Moraira, a small fishing village, is just a short drive from Javea. Here there is a fine sandy beach, ideal for the children, a port with some spectacular boats to admire, and plenty of shops and restaurants.
Calpe, larger than Moraira and Javea, is located about 10 kilometres south of Moraira. It has a long promenade offering bars, restaurants and a handful of shops. Alongside the promenade runs the beautiful golden beach of "El Arenal" (the same name but a different beach to the one in Javea).
Torrevieja has, over the years, become a popular resort on the Costa Blanca. It now accommodates many tourists and Spaniards. There is a hive of activity within its shops, quality restaurants and outside bars.
A little inland you encounter the Jalon valley, Guadalest, and the waterfalls of Callosa; all very much worth visiting. Always a popular choice for the children is a day trip to Terra Mitica (a theme park), or Aqualandia (a water theme park), both of which are in Benidorm. There are also always golf courses close by if needed!!
