The Costa Brava is located within the Spanish province of Girona and spans 214km of the coastline starting close to the North Eastern borders with France right down to the beautifully picturesque vilas in Lloret de Mar. Since the 1950's much of the area has undergone serious development for the holiday industry and now attracts vast numbers of tourists each and every year, especially from the UK and France; however areas of Llafranc, Tamariu and Begur remain untouched.
